Web cams were the cams that had issues from their supplier. The cams would wear down the lobes extremely fast.

Yeah thats who it was.. WEB.Basically,Comp,crane, and someone else makes thier's of web's blanks(in other words web is thier supplier). Robert at Road race Engineering told me this,otherwise I wouldnt have known. Glad to share some helpful info!

I agree with the HKS cams. Im just on the 14b and still like em..At stock boost, the turbo cant keep up, thats the only issue tho I wanna see what they do when the boost is at 17psi..

Gotcha.. Lopey as in whiney and all.I was thinking as in a lopey idle or something to that extent,Not noisy.Thanks for clarifying that tho.I havent had that probleme but then again I havent noticed it or tried to.

From what I heard Comp was buiying theirs form this one comapny that was making blanks and sent out a bad set prior to Comp getting thier blanks from them.something to the extent of they were bad sets and for the most part were damaging peoples engines.If they can bypass that bad rep the company they buy from got then they should be fine.I, like you, prefer HKS because they are a proven company with our cams.

Comp does not buy their cams from anyone, if anything they contract companies out for design and testing, but they tool thier own stuff. It was probably someone like Webcams that had that problem. Comp is one of the largest cam/valvtrain companies in the world, and probably the best. Comp has just recently released thier cams for dsms, give them another year or two and I'm sure they will be the cam of choice in dsms. Comp even makes the cams for Forced Peformance. But from what i hear Forced Performance designed them.
