Today I realized how sad my life has become. I devoted the entire night to put my new engine in... It took me all of 20 minutes to accomplish... With the trans attached... By myself... After it was in, I had to stop working on the car for the night because I realized how big of a loser my car has made me! I think I need to spend less time on these cars and find another hobby. Any ideas for hobbies? All I could come up with is to start drinking...more...:sosad:

So, does anyone else feel as pathetic as I do right now? LOL... :toobad:

I feel that working on cars is a good hobby. Sure it can get frustrating and costs a lot of money, but it's enjoyable when everything works right. You can take some pride in it, ya know?

I think working on cars is a great hobby... But tonight, I just felt like a huge car nerd. I mean, besides the a bunch of people on this board, how many people can say they put can engine in a car in 20 minutes by themselves? Haha, oh well I guess. Once its running and all tuned, I'm sure I will have a MUCH different attitude towards it :D

Another hobby? Sure. Get a motorcycle and work on that instead.
LOL, let me rephrase that, I need a hobby that doesn't cost a lot :D I've already dumped over twe... well, let's not get into that tonight :D

By "putting an engine in in 20 minutes" I'm going to assume that you literally put the engine in the car, and put the bolts in the motor mounts. You must have forgotten the other couple of hours of hooking everything up properly. Now doing all that in 20 minutes, that would be impressive.

Simply impossible to do that in 20 minutes. Unless you just dropped the the 4G63 without the wiring, hoses, pipes, etc.

Gotta see a vid for that.

You're fast. I have a new hobby for you. Helping me work on mine! Ha...

Haha, oh no, no, no, not complete. engine in the chassis, fuel lines, and some of the wiring. definatly not the whole shibang... Lol, sorry for the miscoception. Just that the first time I ever did and engine install, it took me well over an hour just to get the engine in!
