IHI VF series turbo?

I got this one guy who wants to trade me a IHI VF series turbo for som audio stuff i have..But i don't know anything about these..Besides i think they came off of a wrx..He said it is on a Manifold and it will bolt right up..Maybe just have to teawk some lines or somthing. Does anyone have any input on this or has ever done it before. Or should i just stick with a 14b? thanks

Uhhh... WRX=Boxer engine= manifolds aren't gonna bolt up.

Stick with the 14b. You'll be more than happy with it.

That was it...first the kid tells me he has one. now he doesn't, it is all good though i got another one...Now it is getting the money for a install kit and being to make it to the meet..I think i'm just gonna go with a 14b..Play it safe!
