Ignition problem I really need help.

Ok I was in the middle of changing my fuel pump relay on a 1990 Plymouth laser rs turbo when It hit a metal post on the inside of the car and arched it because my buddy left the key in and in the on position. Now nothing no power to the ignition no power to the gauges. Won't crank over like before. I just wanted to get it started because I'm trying to sell it for 800. The engine was just rebuilt so I'm hoping I didn't do any serious damage because I have no more money to put into it. Please any help or ideas would be great. I don't think I hurt the ecu because the lights still go up and down and it still makes that annoy ding sound with the key in the ignition and door open. I just want the car gone

Did you check your relays?

which relays I replaced the fuel pump one right after I did it. I had an extra laying around. fuse no I had to leave almost right after it happened because my ride had to get home. I'm thinking it might just be fuses but I wanted some ideas because I don't want to just look for one problem if it's just the fuses then that's good but I also want some more possibility so I don't spend a day wasted looking for something I don't under stand because I don't know the ignition set up that well

That's definitely where I would start and then I would pray that that is the problem.

its probably one of the big fuses under the hood. the ones you need to take off with a socket not the pull out ones. check those out and see if any are blown

I am praying that it's the problem cause like I said I just want it gone, It's been nothing but a head ache since I got it.

well if it's not that I'm just going to pull the 6-bolt and sell it with the tranny and new clutch

That seems a little extreme for what seems to be a simple electric problem but hey do what you gotta do. I have put 4 grand this year to get mine running and believe me I was gonna part mine out somewhere in there but when I was done and it fired up I kept it.

well I have another 97 but I just need it gone it's sitting at my house and I'm trying to sell it. So if i can get 600 or 800 for engine and tranny with new clutch. I'll have to junk the body for a new project. I put close 4 grand into this laser to get it running because the guy before me used gear oil instead of engine oil in for an oil change.

If you arched and shorted out a circuit there are always fuses to save your ass. Check all fuses before anything.

I'm checking all the fuses tomorrow. I don't have a cover for my fuse box under the drivers side if anyone can send me a picture of there's so I know what fuses go where It would be gratefully appreciated. I know the fuse I'm looking for probably isn't under there but I can't find a picture of one and I'm missing a few fuses in there.
