Ilike Apex personally. They have a nice turbo back N1 setup.

$200 for an 02 eliminator downpipe? I believe RnR sells it for like $315 or something like that
Hell mine costed me $430 plus shipping. I paid extra for no cat and stainless though. Then I had to pay to get the o2 bung welded shut and a new one put on due to it being in the wrong spot. When I bolted it up I didnt realize that the o2 sensor poked a hole in the water pipe. Scratch one water pipe and o2 sensor.

I will also have to say pay a bit more and get a 3inch O2 elim. If you do it right once then you dont have to worry about it later. Let him know you need a cat and he will make it that way.

so it looks like the apexi is the one for me. Will it bolt right up?
some one owes me $210 so i told him to get me a downpipe and call it a day

I'd go with the Apex'i just for the price and quality. But for a little more, RNR o2 elmin would be the ideal thing to get. RNR does great work.

no one has informed you that an apex'i N1 downpipe eliminates your cat... unless you want to remove the downpipe and reinstall the stock downpipe and cat before inspection time.

an RnR o2 eliminator downpipe will outflow ANY ported o2 housing. that said, if you want to make some big power, you'll want to upgrade your o2 housing, as that is a giant exhaust restriction. you can an RnR downpipe to retain the factory cat, and order 3" test pipe for when you're not at inspection. i don't know what RnR's turnaround times are now, but be prepared to wait if you order one from them.

So RnR is the best to order from, but how long is the wait? 2.5inch o2, 2.5" dp, 3" from hi-flow cat back? Pointless? Will a 3" turboback with 3" o2 be worthwile, affordable, and pass emmisions?

I am buying a RNR #" O2 Elim with no cat, and stainless, they seem to be the best out there, especially for the $. Just my $0.02

a 2.5" downpipe/3" cat-back combination is enough for 90% of DSMs on this site.

Agian, if you call Ryan and tell him you want a cat he will make it with that in mind. I would get the 3 inch O2 elim back. It will support anything you throw at it.

They (the guys at RNR) have been stockpiling most of their exhausts lately, so you shouldn't have to wait too long for it. Reminds me I need to contact Ryan...
