If MAFS is not working

If the MAFS is not working would the car still run perfect. Because i installed a SAFC and im not getting an air flow reading. And yes the wires are installed correctly already triple checked them(maybe more).

Would a bad MAFS cause me to get no reading on the SAFC.

is your sfacII set to karman in the sensor imput?

Pretty sure if your mafs isnt working your car wouldnt run...or if it did it would run really bad. Pretty sure it would be noticable. But i agree with PR DSM go to the signal and set it to karmans.

You would know if your MAF wasn't working. Your car would idle/run terrible. Do you have a CEL?

Had similar problem on my 1 g when upgraded to a 2g maf and installed a super afc. My check engine light came on. I checked wiring about 10 times finally ended up trying a new maf and problem solved. But like of PR dsm check if your set to karmon

Yes i have it set on karman. I am getting a karman reading but i am not gettting an airflow reading.
