Last night i was heading to a party and some guy decided to line up... so i took off when the light turned and there was no sliping or anything then when shifted into 2nd my clutch couldnt hold the power ....then i smelled my clutch...my car still excellerated but not nearly as fast. it almost feels like the tires are spinning but there not. well i went for a drive again to see or try and find the problem..... it only does it when i shift hard from 1st to 2nd.... if im driving in 2nd and stomp on it there is no problem at all. when i drive it normal there is no sliping i was planning on replacing my clutch and flywheel anyhow but not this soon... do you think it could be adjusted or somthing? when i do replace my clutch whats better for my car a comp. or act? ty much jeff

Yea it sounds like you toasted your clutch - it happens a lot to modded cars. I'd go with the ACT 2100 kit, and either the ACT Streetlite flywheel or a Fidanza (your choice). Also using the Mitsu OEM throwout bearing is a good idea instead of the ACT one, some people have trouble with it.
