i have a 95 talon non turbo. It has no motor or trans. I am trying to get the drive shafts out and i cant figure it out. like i said the trans is out. what do i have to do to get them completly out of the car without cutting or breaking things. and obviously it is front wheel drive

So the shafts are not stabbed into the transaxle (because its out) correct?
You will have to remove the nut that is holding the shaft in the steering knuckle, it is behind the center cap on the wheel.

You mean CV Shafts? How could you have the trans out and not the shafts?

Yeah, he means CV shafts.

On a 2G, it's possible to split the upper control arm and the spindle and then swing the knuckle out far enough to pop the shafts out of the tranny without actually removing the axles from the vehicle.

DSMAdrenalinePS - Have you already removed the axle nut on the end of each CV shaft? It's located at the center of each hub. Once that is removed, then shafts simply slide out of the hub - unless they are seized. Then it gets fun. Penetrating oil, heat, etc...

Two weeks ago, we had to take an acetylene torch to my roommates knuckle and completely burn out the CV cut, and hub and bearing just to get the CV out. It was seized very badly.
