Ok, I recently had a gas leak, put my car up on the lift today with a friend and was looking around, come to find out it's a slit in my thick rubber hose that goes over the metal filler tube.
The shop didn't have any hose that would fit...What size is this hose and where can I get some because I need to replace it we did a temp fix and it's still leaking after I drove it a little bit.
Also, if anyone has any advice on how to take the old tube out and put a new one in it would be helpful everything is cramjam packed up in there and we can't even really see where to unclamp the other end of the hose much less put a new one in.
thanks for any help i'm broke and trying to avoid a big expensive mechanic bill for a simple hose...but I also don't want to blow up
peace
