I think you'd be pretty hard pressed. I would suggest simply going to a good re-upholsterer and seeing what they can do for you. Are these seats already leather, or are you trying to make leather seats? Are you planning on re-upholstering them yourself?

You just reminded me that I need to re-upholster my driver's seat (dark gray leather).

They're already leather and I do plan on changing them myself, I'm just trying to find a good shop where I can get the most bang for my dollar, you know?
I need to do both front seats, the back still looks like new though

Think about checking ebay? I found a used leather seat, for a 2g, for 70 bucks, and it is in very nice condition, no cracks/tears anywhere. Ebay should be cheaper than paying someone to reupholster yours. It is also probably cheaper than doing it yourself, unless you have the tools, knowledge, and supplies to do it yourself!

Yeah, there's a guy going around ebay right now, selling full interior from a GSX... black leather! I was going to buy his rear seats for 100 shipped!

Has anyone had there factory seats wraped in suede or leather? I like the way they look and feel. Just wounder if anyone else feels the same way? Post some pics up if you have done it.

I am interested as well to see if people have done this. Although i am pretty sure the cost of doing it would = the cost of new bucket seats, but hopefully it has been done and I can see pictures

Guy on one of my other forums did a re-wrap on his factory 3000gt seats. I'll see if I can find the site he bought them from if you want, they weren't cheap though, I remember that.

not to bring back an old thread but this past week I called all over and every place wants around $2000 to rap my factory 1g cloth seats in leather. that is front and rear.

ive found a cpl guys with 1g leather seats i want but ther all like 400-700 miles away...just my luck

Have you looked into vinyl? its much cheaper than real leather. The upholstery shops have different vinyls that feel and look just like leather, hell 95% of factory leather interior cars only have real leather on the seating surfaces, the rest of it is well matched vinyl hence the term "leather trim" interior.

95% of factory leather interior cars only have real leather on the seating surfaces, the rest of it is well matched vinyl hence the term "leather trim" interior.

Such as DSMs, for one.

I started a Similar post last week. I am trying to get a hold of them(Katzkin) to see if the will extend a GB on this site. I wanted to have them set-up a vendor account so they could handle all of it. (per site rules).

I was quoted 1200 front and rear, and that seems to be the going rate for them installed.

I do not post much, since I like to read and search. I have been gone a while and noticed that the site has changed a lot and for the better IMHO. Anyway, I am going to become debt free by the end of December and I was wondering... Who would you recommend for replacement leather seat covers. I have a 1997 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD. My car is black with the Tan interior. I am going to go crazy on my car since I will have more cash to play with and pep up my baby ie; paintjob, replace some broken interior pieces from a wreck and old age and so on.
I have always valued this communities opinions and would appreciate them once more. Thank you very much in advance. BTW, I have looked at Katzkins but they only sell for the non-powered seats. Mitsubishi wants $500 for the OEM replacement Leather seat covers. I would like to get HIGH quality leather replacements like the type of Leather that BMW and Lexus seats have.

look for an upholstery shop around your area and talk to them. most of those shops will do everything head liners convertible tops and seats. you can ask them what type of leather they can get for your seats also.

Well since you are not going OEM because you want luxury like the BMW or Mercedes, I'd suggest you hit up some vendors and do some window shopping.
