I Need Help Asap!!

Ok I just got me a 98 Eclipse GS-T, and put a rebuilt engine in it from my 96 eclipse that I wrecked. I got everything hooked up and wired up, and when I went to start it, all it does is sit there and crank. What could be wrong? I do not have the original key, and I have not programed my code into my stereo yet, because I didn't find the code until my 3 try were up. What else could be wrong?

check your basics

fuel
spark


fuel - can you hear your fuel pump priming? do you have pressure at the test port? is your injectors clogged?

spark - check the resistance in the wires, check the plugs, are you in the right firing order? check the coil

also check your fuses make sure nothing is popped. then go from there

would your wrecked eclipse start when it was wrecked? before you took the motor out to put in the 98?

we didnt want to try and start it after the wreck becuase it took out my radiator, and turbo. So did they ever make a chip for the key?
