I Have A Problem [yet another Which O2 Housing]

I JUST got my Thermal R&D 3" exhaust in the mail today. I am having a downpipe custom made for me. I was told to buy a larger o2 housing to fit a 3" downpipe. Which one should I get? And what does the dump on the o2 housing do? (such as the RnR Racing o2 housing)

vents the wastgate exhaust to atmos. not smog legal .. its sorta loud.
Its almost like having an external w/g helps reduse creep

you can get a combination tubular o2 housing, downpipe and test pipe from rnr for a good price right now.. look at their o2 eliminator dp, im getting one pretty soon, ive heard nothing but good things about it
