Ok so i am in the last stages of putting my new turbo in and I am also upgrading to a fmic.

The compressor inlet of the turbo points down toward the ground and it would need a 90 degree angle to the right to run my I/C piping.

My question is... can I use a 90 degree coupler? Or will it get too hot and melt or somthing?

Heat wouldn't be an issue. It might restrict flow. A short 90 degree coupler is a big change in direction, in a short space. Wether it makes a difference or not, IDK, but thats what my unexperienced brain is telling me.

I've even used a radiator hose with no problems up to 20psi. I've heard of it holding 30psi. I'll be the first to say it's a bad idea, but if you're waiting on a coupler and need to drive it, it works!

Slowboy kit comes with a 90 degree silicon pipe in its kit. Only problem i had is you gotta be sure to get it tight on the j-pipe. All that boost hitting the corner of the silicon pipe/coupler and it tends to "push" it down off the j-pipe. Mine came off one day because it got pushed all the way off the j-pipe
