I have a 56mm 6 blade hx40 and i have found a boost leak where the compressor cover meets the chra. From what i have read most people dont have an issue with it leaking there, but unfortunately i do. Is there any body else that has this issue? If so what did you do to seal it? Right now im looking for any ideas to seal this thing up so i can get to tuning.

Thanks

Mark how the cover is clocked, remove the cover, clear away any rust or oxidation from the lip, and seal it using a LIGHT bead of RTV.

Do not go apeshit with the RTV, gluing the cover in place....a 1/16" strip on the sealing lip of the center housing is enough to do the trick.
