How to turn on foglights

Alright, this is a really nooby question, but how/and when should the foglights come on?
I think they are burnt out, and I don't have a manual.

They come on with your low beams.Theres a button on the left side of your gauge cluster for the fog lights.

With the 1g there is a common problem with the button not staying on. So they might be working but your button may be messed up.

Thanks, I ended up double checking, and there isn't any bulbs in them.
I have Valeo fog lights.
These are from Saabs aren't they?

No, those are the stock DSM headlights. I don't know who else used them. Valeo took over Marchal some time ago.

Im sure there is a way to keep the foglights on when brights are on right? And I wanna have just the amber corners with fogs too? This hard at all or what?
