I would just use an adjustable spark tester like this one. Amazon.com: Thexton 404 Adjustable Ignition Spark Tester: Automotive
If your ignition system is able jump the gap in the tester it should be up to par. There's really no other way that I know of to check for "spark quality". It usually either has enough juice, or it doesn't.
