i need to know how to test if the connector that's connected to the harness is dead.

anybody please im trying to make it to mod but have more to fix themn just this im trying to work as much as possible

Airflow meter - with the ignition key ON, check signal volatge to the airflow meter by probing terminal 2. It should be between 4.8 and 5.2 volts. Than check for battery voltage on terminal 3. It should be 12 volts on a fully charged battery.

Barometric pressure sensor - with the ignition key ON, check terminal 4 for signal voltage. Should be between 4.8 and 5.2 volts. Check the continuity of the ground circuit by probing terminal 6. There should be continuity.

IAT - Battery voltage test is the same test performed for Airflow meter. No signal wire.

so i tested terminal 1 threw 7 while having the black probe on a ground point and the red probe on terminals.

readings are:
terminal 1= .04V
terminal 2= 0.00V
terminal 3= 11.37V
terminal 4= 4.98V
terminal 5= .02V
terminal 6= .02V
terminal 7= 4.66V

now i am supposed to get 4.8-5.2V on terminal 2 and ive tried over 50 times to get a diff reading and i get nothing but 0.00V

so what do i do from here?
should i test pin #10 for a 4.8-5.2V READING.

my main question is WHAT DO I DO FROM HERE?

i just figured out my own problem the pin 10 was disconnected from the ecu.....my factory harness is so hacked to shit.

You can check at the ECU to see if it's an ECU problem or a wiring problem between the ECU and MAF

On the biggest connector to the ECU Pin 23 is power supply for the MAF and should be 5 volts

Pin 16 is the barometric sensor

Pin 8 is the IAT

Perform all the tests again and if anyone failed, it's a problem with your ECU. Go to VFAQ then electrical and you will find a pin layout for the ECU.
