420A How to tell PCM year

Hey Everyone,

I just picked up my son a 95 Eclipse RS and it runs and drives fine but I noticed a burning smell coming from the car, Lifted up the hood and a portion of the engine harness has been melted, Looks like the previous owner rerouted the wiring where the aftermarket header came into contact with the harness.

I'm ordering a new harness from Miller Import but wanted to know how I can confirm it is a 95 block with a 95 PCM? I don't want to order the harness to find that a diff year engine swap was done in the past.

Post a pic of the ecu. The 95 and 96 ecu's are different than the 97-99.

here’s a pic, it looks smaller then the one in my 98 eclipse.
