I bought a 95 eagle talon tsi awd a couple months ago and it was in rough shape and you can tell its been through a lot. It has had multiple owners with multiple set ups and even multiple different motors. I know virtually nothing about this car's past because the owner i got it from had it for less that 2 years, and he was a moron. I am thinking that this car has probably been tuned with dsmlink in the past, and i was wondering if the ECU is still the same. Is there a way to tell if the ECU is chipped for dsmlink or not? I dont want to send it out just to find out its already good to go

I apologize if this has been asked before but I've been searching for about an hour already and have had no luck!

Yep, unbolt the three bolts mounting the ecu, open her up, and then look for the ecm tuning chip in the picture above.

Even if it has a stock chip in it, you can tell by looking at how the chip attaches to the circuit board. If it has a socket and you can just wiggle the chip out you are good to go. If it hasn't been socketed, the chip is soldered to the circuit board.
