if i wanted to polish my valve cover and heat shield how exactly do i do it i knwo i need a dye grinder and a bit but do i use any polish or anything? just give me ideas plz

the best way to do your valve cover is to get some aircraft stripper and spray it on to get the paint off.....then sand it down with 400 to get the rough shit out of it, then if you feel like it go over it with 800, then 1000 and 2000...wet sand it, do not dry sand it....then after you get it all purdy with the 2000...polish it up with some mothers mag and aluminim polish and youll be blingin
