Hey, can somebody tell me how you can change your original gauges with an aftermarket (white) gauge?? please help

u dont replace them they send u a cover that goes over them...most of the ones on ebay the whole cover lights up...i think its tight i put them on my car...whatever u do dont remove any needles...covers go over the needles u can move them all u want just dont pull them off...good luck if u get them..

ohh no....drop the steering wheel as low as it goes...and the lil black bezel has two screw on the top of it....take them out n pull out the black piece...then u have the guage cluster...the cluster and a clear piece..pull that out and the clear piece should pop out of it....then u install your "guages" which are covers...wires run out through lil holes...thatn the wires to the 2 guages..(.rpm speedo...gas/temp...oil press/boost..) run out and plug into a trans something..i forget that its called its a lil box that has two wires coming off of that....with those 2 wires u splice the headlight power supply to get power to the guage covers...then tuck all the wires underneadth push the cluter back in put the clear piece over top of that...make sure it clicks in the power supply to the cluster in all 2 or 3 plugs...not sure its been a while...then put the black peices that holes it all in n put in the two screws...put the steering wheel back up n ur ready to go...after uve done it right u should get power to ur guages when u turn on ur head lights...theres also a little tap that comes down which changes the color of the guages and the brightness...mine cost me like 30 bucks and they still work fine...right from ebay..theres a pic in my profile...good luck

btw...there's also 2 screw holding the actual cluster in place...i really wouldnt follow the vfaq thing...its good n all...but it looks a lil more complicated i didnt read all of it but it has a pic of taking apart the bottom of the steering wheel..i didnt do all of that....also the wires u tap into should be in a lil hole to the left inside the guage cluster which is the same as being right behind the cruise control switch...
