Many of you probably read the title and thought: WTF is this guy thinking. Well here it is. I have a 1G BOV that sat in a puddle of water in the hatch of one of my old parts cars. There is some water in the upper portion of the BOV. I know it cant be disassembled, so how do I clean it out? How do I get the water out? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, once it's cleaned out, is there anyway to test it to see if it works without mounting it to my car??

Thanks :dsm:

Hm. I don't think much water would get in, usually. Load it with WD-40, and blow compressed air across the nipple as though you were trying to get it to whistle like a beer bottle.

You could test it with a Mity-Vac.
