how to change seals in a turbo?

im looking for an exploded pictoral view of a 1g mitsu turbo and how to change the seals in 1.

if your talking about a stock 14b, dont bother with the hassle, just buy another one.
they wont set you back more than 100 dollars. i see them all the time on my local board for 150 canadian.

$100 is alot to me right at the moment. i was just gona go to the local turbo shop and buy the seals if the seller of a turbo i may buy is sold b4 i get the $$ to buy it.

although, i never had a turbo opened up before, i know there precision instruments, you could i would imagine very easily destroy it if you do it incorrectly.
but i understand where your coming from.
IMO your best bet is a used turbo.
but price it out, and see if you can handle this job

im pretty mechanically inclined i put the turbo engine in my car, changed the t belt, head gasket, injectors bla bla bla on my car i dont think changing seals in a turbo will be all that difficult. i like to see 1 all apart tho to get an idea where everything is and goes.

i just had an idea, whenever i go to the dealership, they always have diagrams of everything, if you go in there, and be nice, and buy the seal from them, they shouldnt have a problem printing off a diagram for you.

dealer down the street always gives my diagrams of what i need to see and prints them for me and its free
