Upon installing my Evo III 16G turbo today, the first thing i did was i untightned the driver side fan bolts starting clockwise. Three of them came easily however the 4th one ( lower left), wouldnt come out. The square piece holding the bolt looked like it didnt want to cooperate. All i did was use a tiny flat head screw driver to try to move that square piece, and all of a sudden, antifreeze started dripping around that bolt area. I dont know how the hell this could have happened. My radiator looks fine and ive never had a overheating problem. I havnt ever had any signs of coolant leak and my cars temperature is always dead normal and wont ever move once it gets to the halfway point. I dont see how removing a bolt could cause antifreeze to start dripping out of the fan bolt area. I had to take out the whole radiator to inspect what was going on. I didnt really see any visual damage or cracks, so i proceeded to finish my Install on the 16G and as soon as i put the the radiator back in, connected al the hoses, and filled the reservoir with coolant, it started dripping again from that same bolt area. I tried JB weld on it, but still no luck. That mofo is leaking. The car temperature started to rise 10 mins after i started the car. I just dont see how i couldve fuked anything up. This is pissing me off, i fix one thing, and something else has to go wrong.
Any ideas? Ive been told to check out the drain #### (cok.. it censored it) but i have no clue what that is or where it is located. Please help!!
