Just a quick one...i have a 92 tsi, and i am wonderin how much boost i can run with stock injectors....i have all the rest....walbro 190 re-wired, full exhaust, intake...i am just wonderin if i can run 18psi with the 450's??? i always run 92 octane and no less...will this set-up support 18psi??? pls answer me....thnx

You need a logger to tell for sure, everyone's car is different. I logged last night and with a 255HP, AFPR and a bunch of other mods (listed in profile) i was seeing 95% IDC at 16 psi on the 14b between 6-7K. I wouldn't bump up the boost to 18 psi w/o some kind of logger.

YMMV.

yah, thats true i need a logger for sure but am just curios as to what other guys are runnin...anyone else have any input.,.Cause the stock 450's are able to fuel up to 300-318 hp....and right now i am only at 265....Hmmm...thanx for any help...

well in theory you should be able to max out your 14b to 18psi with your supporting mods and be running safe 255hp, again intheory, now... not only you re-wire your pump, but you actually upgraded it, technically you can run more boost than 18psi, but your 14b works best under 18 (eventhough people claim to see more power at higher psi) may be true, like steve said everyones car is diferent.

But to answer your question: Yes you can safely run 18 psi on your setup, but if you have a logger and a tuning device you can see better and more efficient results if you dedicate some time in detailed tunning.

if you can spare 100 bucks, pick up a set of 510's. the stock ecu can handle them with out having to run a safc, and you can run 18 all day long. on my previous gsx, i had a big 16g full exhaust a 255hp fuel pump and 510's and i ran 18-19 psi all day and the car was fine.
