how much power can 1g non-turbo clutch take?

I'm making turbo conversion to my non-turbo 1g.
Should i change my clutch if i'm going over 300hp ?

Yea, you should get a new clutch probably. I'm no expert but I would say that if you don't your clutch will begin to slip a bit, and we all know that no one wants a slippery clutch

i was smoking clutch easily with my nt turbo conversion even at low boost.

Yah new clutch. Even people with turbo cars from the factory get a new clutch when they hit 300 hp, most before that. Though the stock clutch on the turbos really is quite tight and grabs well stock.

that setup will only work if you get the fwd turbo transmission as well as some other little parts related to it.

I also am looking to turbo my nt, i have a new exedy stock replacement clutch with about 4k on it, how long will it hold if at all?
