Hey, Im about to buy a 90 TSI AWD 5 speed off of my friend, with lots of mods, just wondering how much power its making. Ill list everything -

Stock head and intake
replaced block with stock equivalent, arps, MHG, etc
bigger injectors, 550cc i think? ill find out
255 walbro fuel pump
Evo 3 Big 16g turbo
generic MBC - boosts to about 17 psi steady, creeps/spikes to 20 ish sometimes
SS autochrome tubular exhaust manifold
3 inch turbo back exhaust, no cat
Stock SMIC (has to go)
SAFC-II
stock driveline

What kind of power can i expect at 17-18 psi? and how about after i replace the stock IC and leaking BOV so i can really boost and not have to worry? Im not new to turboed cars, just DSMS, ive owned a toyota supra turbo and a few other modded v8s and stuff, just trying to get into something a little smaller and better on gas that can still pwn on the street. thanks!!

well there is no definate way to determine horse power without the use of a dyno. There are WAY to many factors that come into play.:dsm:

Maybe if you posted your 1/4 mile times or trap speeds there could be a educated guess but otherwise this would be like aiming at a apple on top of someones head with a bb gun while shooting in the dark hopping on one foot with chopped off pointer fingers.....LOL

edit: Whats that funny hollow noise I hear in the video coming from the exhaust, or is it just my computer...
And at least looks like the clutch was slipped out properly and not just dropped on that take off...

yeah he let it slip a bit, and i have no idea on quarter mile time or trap speed, hes never ran it. and it does sound weird now, its a 2 chamber flowmaster muffler knock off. Im gona replace it with a real catback when i get it, the exhaust is all hacked up and welded anyway. But not even a ballpark figure, It has to be close to 300 or more, just judging by how fast it is.

Sounds like you have around the amount of mods I have, ( me having a little more.)
IF the car is running correctly and IF the tune is correct and IF you dont have major boost leaks along with other various possibilities to not make me want to guess your hp,
then theoretically you should be making between 250-310 whp ( as lowest to highest.)
I really really doubt your over 310whp on 17-20psi with the e316g and a safc tune; especially w/o cams.

As far as the muffler, cut the son-of-mabitch off.
The noise level shouldnt change too much more if any, but maybe will get rid of that
nasty tone yours exzibits.

Stop bench racing, newb.

You'll find street racing & bench racing aren't allowed around (especially street racing). There is no way to give a resonable answer to this question as there are just too many factors that will greatly vary the output of the car. My stab in the dark is 260 ish at the wheels but again, this can vary a great deal depending on the actual setup.
