justin0469 said:5* is your timing and its fine.
justin0469 said:correct me if im wrong but degrees is a measurement of how far the engine has rotated after TDC or how far it needs to go before it reaches TDC. knock is measured in counts and is just how many times it knocked. so they would only be whole numbers. thats how i understand it. so i could see 4 counts of knock at 5* ATDC (example) but i dont know what 5* knock is. and i dont know much about phantom knock but im sure just searching for "phantom knock" will reveal others' experiences with it and when it usually happens
keymaster said:ChiGGz, you're talking about the DSMLink function of providing a knock sensor for 2G's, by telling you how much the timing has been retarded because of knock. yours is being pulled by 0.4*. I wouldn't say that's anything to worry about, but I'd add a bit of fuel just to be safe.
