how much hp you guys got?

Yet, get the slip of paper to say whats what.
I watched this evo 8 Dyno with a bunch of the Northwest Evolution club at Axiom motorsports over the weekend, and this one guy put down 299.8hp (not sure if it was to the wheels or not) When I asked what his run was, someone said 300hp, he corrected them to 299.8hp, because he didn't want to false avertise.

Yea sorry about that guys I haven't updated my profile, the car was stock until like last week when I got the turbo installed. Also the 16.2 was last year back when I was n/t.

It is updated now, and yea I'd like to keep the bench dyno to a minimum but I always guess low so at least im not being like yea I have 200hp "because hahn said I should be at 200 hp" when im actually no where near there.... yet :|

N/A isnt all that bad. We get good gas mileage? and our 420a's are relitively cheaper to fix, and easyer to manuver around. i guess we will have to resort to the spray for some HP gains. haha im at about 160ish Whore power now. good luck guys

Okay its updated now :thumb: I forgot about that. haha. But yea, I have noticed no decrease in gas mileage with the turbo, the only thing is I have to put in expensive gas. But hearing the turbo spool up boosting makes up for the extra 5 cents. :D

No it isn't.

And you ran a 16 second quarter with a turbo? Slushbox?

EDIT: Slushbox. :p

i think it will be real interesting to see if/how your view on all motor changes after you boost. i know that i was an all motor guy before i started spraying, and after that i knew my engine couldnt go NA for very long.

brian i think you were kidding but he ran that time NA ;)

im not sure what is wrong with your guys cars but the 2nd gen eclipse comes BONE STOCK with 140 horse power.... Im currently pushing around 250 right now in my 96 gs and all i have is dc headers and injen cold air intake, crower cams, aem cam gears and a apexi cat back exhaust kit.. Ladys i think its time to dyno your cars and see what your really running becasue if its only 140 and youve modded it.. you have problems.. Good luck dsm freaks.....

HAHAHAHAH you sir are full of shit. That's 140 at the crank ie take in account parasitic loss in the rotating assembly and boom you only have 100 horse. You sir are smoking some crack, and would love to see a dyno sheet to prove it. A stock gst is only pulling 210 at the crank.

edit:
you must be adding up all the numbers they claim to give you. a full exhaust header, hiflo cat, and a cat back is only giving you 15 horse.... mabey. A CAI isn't helping much either bringing in a whopping 1-3 horse. Which cam set do you run? What is the intake and exhaust duration, On your cam gears have you advanced or retarded the cams? Details.... those details I'm afraid you'll never come up with :nono:

YO i gots me a HONDUH thats 100000000000000 HP at the rear wheels and all i gots is a JDM JSPEC SPOON TYPE-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Muffler. 250hp :nono: go get a honda, you sir are a disgrace to our great DSM name.

But in all seriousness i am hoping to have around 300 WHP in about a month and a half :shhh: i on the other hand will post a dyno.

so the dynod 225 hp with all of those mods (minus the headers of course)
that i put down running a stage 2 turbo must be wrong then
maybe the dyno guy left the brake on or unplugged a cylinder or something

should have done your homework and realized that 200 is getting into the very hard to almost impossible range

250 is a joke

After I boost? Well its not like I've never driven a turbo before, Chris. I used to drive an 86 Sunfire Turbo when I was dating this chick back in KS. After that, I've driven a couple boosted 2GNTs, an SRT4, and even a new, GReddy 350Z TT (Oh yeah. It's all that.). I agree, it's addicting, but I have restraint. I think the one turbo car that I need to avoid at all costs is my buddy's 350awhp GSX. He offered me the keys last week for a quick spin, but we all know there's only one way to get AWD in a DSM when you roll a 420A and I don't ever want to go there. OMG

I will turbocharge Daisy this winter some time. I've got big plans for the little all motor bi***, but after all the time and money I've invested in this project thus far, I've got to track her out and get her to the dyno to answer the question once and for all, how much can you really put down all motor? :talon:

damn that 350z must be sick. the only turbo car i had driven before i got my turbo running was my aunts turbo PT cruiser, and i didnt even get to push it cuz she was with me LOL. but it is addicting... i got it running yesterday and was thinking this is awesome!!! i didnt have a working dp, and the manifold was leaking, and the first thing i was thinking... boost controller, must get, more boost!!! LOL

i cant wait for that. do you plan on getting a kit or building your own? what do you want your set up to look like? i still wish you would turbo her before the shoot out tho :thumb:

Explain, is there an AWD tranny/diff that will fit in our car?

Oh ok, LOL. Well I plan on keeping my N/T :thumb: AWD in a 420A would be cool though...

Winnar! If I want AWD, I think I'll buy a Jeep. :D

And Chris, considering how it's something like 2200 miles each way for me to and from the Shootout this year, I'm going to spend almost as much on gas as I will on the hotel. Even if I manage my usual 35mpg, fully built at 85mph on the highway, I'm still looking at close to $400 in gas alone. The shootout is going to cost me over a grand to do this year. That's my turbo system right there, but I'd rather boost myself than boost the car. Shootout > Turbosystem imo. Besides... there's always next year.
