How much HP does a 3" turboback add???

The 1g cat is only supposed to flow 185cfm. One of the exhaust vendors says(Anderson?). On my my cracked to hell, old and now retired 14b, I would only get 8psi max with wide open MBC. After I put on an Apex'i N1 and 2 1/2" Hiflow I could boost up to 10-11 psi. talk about opening things up.

I am not sure where they got that... I have ran 13.3 @ 102 on stock DP, cat and Cat-back w/100k miles on it. I can assure that you that was more than double of 185cfms...

I didnt realise that there was that much in the stock dp and cat

and maybe his races were to 60, or even in the full quarter, but he forgot to tell us about the 2 inches of snow on the ground

I dunno about a completly stock dsm but my 90 gsx with a 16g running 16psi, i gained 34hp not to shabby if you ask me

The funny thing about flow is it can be measured in many different ways. I'm sure 185psi throught the stock cat woudl be a normal ambiant pressure. Lets say there is 10psi of pressure in your exhaust system, how much does it flow now?

If your car could in thoery create 100psi of exhaust pressure the exhaust pipe would flow 6-7X what it does at standard pressure see where I'm going with this?

Until you upgrade your tiny TD04 turbo, everything you do will bring you less extra power than what you are hearing about in a 5sp car.
