How Much For Valves ???

how much should i charge each for vavles. i'm not sure of the going price on used valves so i figured i'd ask. i know what new runs! someone give me some idea please.

speaking of valves (not trying to hijack thread) how much do they usually run to get them adjusted? I talked to a mechanic who said eclipses are hard to adjust and its not even worth the money...

You mean to say you have set of used valves in good shape and want to sell them?

well a new set will run from 100 to 160 bucks shipped, or more depending on what kind of valves, (stock SS, or high performance) now im not sure, but if you're trying to sell them whatever you can get its good, because I dont think people buy used valves to install on their cylinder heads, its not a good thing to do. or at least I dont know of people who goes that path... anyway good luck with that, or maybe I misunderstood what you were trying to ask in this thread.

They're not just hard to adjust, they're impossible.

DSMs have hydraulic lifters. That's self-adjusting, automatic-lash-eliminating, hydraulic lifters.

Don't ever give that mechanic a dime.
