How much does the 2g longblock weight?

Hey i'm about to pull the engine in my 2g and I was wondering its wieght. I need to see if I can "strong man" this sucker outta there.

Couldnt tell you how much the longblock weighs, but just the block and internals are a bi*** to pick up by yourself. And im not a small guy.

probably 200lbs

My bare 2.4 block (nothing, just the block), a set of crower rods, and a 2.4 crank weighed in it 145 lbs. The head adds a good bit of weight and the front cover, water pump, cams, etc all add up.

I just had my motor shipped to me, just the head and block, nothing else and the weight was 225. I wouldnt recommend " strong manning" your block out haha. def get a hoist, either that or drop it out the bottom with a floor jack. are you leaving the tranny on the sub frame, or pulling that out also?
