My father bought his 91 Amazon blue GSX in Aug. of 1990 for 23,500. I'll be 33yrs old in Sep. I've driven it twice! He just handed me the title two days ago, and the third time I'll be driving it will be to Factory MOD in Bloomington IL. He put a whopping 5,000 mi. on it in the last ten years.

That's awesome! How many total miles does it have on it?

I paid $900 for my 93 Tsi Awd..... I thought I got an awesome deal. I knew it had a few problems but I didn't care. Now I'm over $4,000 invested and the car is still in the shop. So much for getting a good deal! Shitty PO, not taking care of the car!

I get angry when I see a DSM in the junk yard. I had to scrap my 1990 and I still wanna cry over it. Im addicted to DSM's. DSM IN MY BLOOD AND IT FLOWS EVERY SECOND OF EVERY DAY!

$3700 for my completely bone stock mint 91 TSi AWD with 67,000 miles on it in March 2009. Now has 72,000 miles and is quite ways more modded.

Body has right around 90,xxx, motor was replaced by mitsu. dealer in Springfield, IL. just before warranty ran out. So around 54xxx on motor. Some how it burnt an exhaust valve around 3x,xxx the dealer fixed it, but got coolant in the cylinders and ended up breaking a couple piston rings, so they just replaced it. I'd have to look up the paperwork to find out exactly. Other than the "free mods", and a ported 2G exhaust mani. its completely bone stock.

just picked up my first DSM... 92 Eclipse 2.0 N/T runs great looks= slight rust ripped front bumper leather seats, shitty steel wheels... all in all a steal at only $250.00 !!!!! since changed over int to all black with light gray leather seats... soon to tackle ext

I bought a 91 talon awd manual, in may '10 for $800. 94k only problem was the idle.

$6000 for an Eclipse GSX AWD Turbo & an Eclipse GST FWD Turbo. GSX has almost 170k miles on it and the GST has a rebuilt motor with only about 10k miles on it. However, the GST has major wiring problems (e.g. wires burning up, headliner almost catching fire due to short, etc.) so the GST will be a parts car for the most part. My main complaint with the purchase is that the GST is almost the exact color that I want, and it is a standard. I do like the AWD better though, so it will be my project car.

1300 for a 90 GSX needs body work and has a blown turbo..

Bought mine originally for $1500 in 2006, had some issues with it and sold it for 2k. The guy I sold it to had a tire blow out and parked it in a field for a few years. Couldn't stand to see it going to waste so I got the issues (title ordeal w/ PO) fixed and bought it back for $500. Everything is great on it now and finally have it up and running again and hoping to get it painted this weekend.

Wow. Looking at some of the deals ppl got here, I feel a little gypped. Got my N/T Laser for $500 not running. Only had 100K mi and came with brand new tires though.

HOWEVER, it's not all bad. I got my slug Honda SUV for $12K less than its true value because it was a salvage.
