How much did you pay for your DSM?

I will let my fellow dsm team mates decide if I "paid too much" What I found is a 95 tsi awd talon, 116,872 mile, it's the same age as my daughter. Lol. Two months ago I traded my 98 Audi a4 quattro avant(means wagon) straight up for the dsm. My audi had 172,589 on it and i owned sine it had 60,000 miles on it. it was the worst car I ever owned. Way too much money for up keep. So the talon did run but needed work I've put 2k in it so far as a daily driver and so far little things but nothing too hateful. I love my car and I know I let the dealer my friend, take me on the deal. I think it wasnt a bad deal for the car. So let me know.

i paid 400 bucks about two moths ago for my 91 n/t talon 167326 miles (broken timing belt):notgood: spent about 250 bucks fixing it and im loving it :thumb:

Broken timing belt usually means piston and valves kissing, how is it possible to fix everything for $250 WTF

So let me know.

You already answered your question "I love my car" Congrats :thumb:

$1,400 for a bone stock 2ga Talon TSi with 117,000 miles and no mechanical or cosmetic issues. I felt like I lucked out pretty good on that one.

i got a 93 laser gold edition awd automatic it had 112k with original motor trans and transfer case. with a set of 18 in enkei ekm3's on continental xtreme w/ 90% tread a godspeed fmic with 2.5 in piping , 3 in jvt downpipe, hks ssqv bov, rear pads and rotors, rockford punch 12 in woofer in non ported box, 1000 watt rockford punch amp, rockford capacitor, rockford thick wiring and a pioneer cd player for $550. i think i got a good deal only thing that was wrong was it needed a ecu, 50 dollars later and it was running good. still needs paint though there is sun fade on the hood hatch and mirrors.but hey... there isn't that many laser rst's left especially the gold edition awd i think they are almost extinct.

$1,000 for my 91 talon tsi fwd, still workin out issues with it but the previous owner parked it and couldn't get any spark. so trailer'ed it home, flashed the ecu and it started LOL. it'd be street ready if i could figure out why i have no boost control period and why its running extremely rich

$1,000 for my 95 TSi AWD. The head was in the trunk along with a 16g and a few other goodies. I don't even want to say how much it's taken to get it where it is now though.

$3,200 for my Spyder GS. Bone stock, near mint condition, with only 94K on the clock. Best car I have ever bought.

I most likely go everyone beat...July 2000 I paid $18,000 and it had 26K Miles on it.

Wow OMG
I purchased mine new back in 1991 and didn't pay that much. If I remember correctly, the sticker was $19,025 but I talked them down to $17,200. Ya got me by $800 but thinking no one here purchased their DSM with as few miles as mine had.

100$ for my 91 talon awd, the guy got tired of it and said he just wants it out, all I had to do was [pay for the title transfer! He also didnt want it, because it was autotragic, but not now.

I got my 95 gsx bone stock only one owner with 56000 miles on it 2 years ago in almost mint for 5000 us at a but here pay here it took 6 months of looking but it was worth it

paid 1600 for mine, was wrecked but had 136000 on it with some new parts and a full exhaust. new rear spindle, 2 ball joints and a lower control arm and it was good to go, its only a gs but maybe somday it will run on boosted power if im too dumb to just sell it and buy a gsx or gst LOL

I paid 1100 and car was running rough, cracked radiator, bad mounts, had shifting problems, bad struts, oil leak, bad crank pulley. Ended up replacing all the above and new ecu. But worth it.. Its my dd. Now need some goodies

Free 2gB eclipse GSX auto with 140k. Was riced out and had alot wrong. Took 1k and extra interior parts to get it road worthy.
