I just a 98' Eagle Talon Tsi fwd auto this past weekend (2/10/12) for $2300 and its very clean just needed tires. It has 125,600 miles on it though. The web says they only made 4300 of these cars.

I got my 98 GSX in August of 2011 for $6500. 111,000 miles on the original 7 Bolt. Thrust bearing failed and walked 2 months later. Dropping in the 6 Bolt this weekend with the 2g head.

I was very grateful for the way he gave me the car though: With EVERY maintenance record and receipt since the vehicle was new. Yes, I do still add to it.

Cheers.

got my 98 gst for 1200 from my best friend, bottom end and trans was rebuilt 4000 miles before i got it (trans is stage 1 from TRE), it then sat for 4 years because he thought he blew it up again. 111xxx on the odometer, he blew an exhaust valve in the third cylinder, over all i have 2000$ into it and a lot of research and work.

$1500 runs solid has some good upgrades and i got it from a mechanic that works at a speed shop, he sold it to buy turbos for his 1990 300z right hand drive inported from japan. it came with KYB fully adjustable suspension LSD ACT stage 2 clutch 16g turbo uprgraded motor mounts. only bad thing is power steering pump leaks , already on order and engine is caked with oil so i ordered a engine gasket felpro kit. hope shes was a good deal because i sold my 97 gst for this 1990 gst i wanted the old school look

The story of my Eclipse's Life:
In early 2000, my dad saved and resurrected a 1995 Eclipse GSX for $4250 from a wrecking auction. It had 58k on the odo and It was totaled. The idiot before hit a fat curb at high speeds and destroyed the entire engine from cracking the bottom end to pieces all the way up to snapping the cams. The body really didnt suffer much, except a little bend in the passenger side frame. The auto tranny needed a slight rebuild. But other than that it most of the things were usable. He was able to order one of the last built 99 GSX engines from Mitsubishi themself at 0 miles. He dropped the new engine in, got new radiator, and a few other needed pieces. It was his slow long term project and didnt get it running til around 2005. Back then he'd buy cars from auctions, fix them up, and then sell it to make some profit. But he ended up liking the car and needed a AWD car for the Seattle Winters. He only drove it a few times a year like when it snowed or the roads got icy. He kept it 100% OEM. My dad was planning on selling the car around late 2010/early 2011 but I convinced him to save it for me and give it to me (as long as my grades stayed good)
So i got the car at 66k odo miles (8k on engine) in January 2011 when i turned 15. It currently has 69.4k miles odo, and i got my license 2 weeks ago:)
I <3 my DSM.
