how many speed sensors

i have a 95 tsi auto awd and my speed sensor is bad. The guy at autozone said the computer showed there are 2 speed sensors for my car an upper and lower. Is this right? i got one from murrays and it doesnt look like it will fit. Any ideas?

wow i really needed you to say that even though the person that replied before you made the same suggestion....thanks for all the help now i really know what i need to do about the speed sensor
