Well, I have looked around but havent been able to find anyone else who has mouted their Palm like this in a 1g or a 2g.

All I did was Dremel out the coin tray and the Palm cradel so that it would sit flush in there. I am planning on taking the Dremel to the lid, as well, so that it looks even more flush. The switch is there because I have ABS. I just leave the switch in the 'off' position, start the car, then the logger. Works great!

Here is the pic(with my phone, sorry that the quality sucks). Let me know what you think:

Look in the tech guide :)

I did... everything else talks about mounting it up by the Heater/AC controls. I havent seen anyone else that has done it like this.

i had mine come through the cd player and tapped it next to the cd player on the passenger side (so it wouldnt get in the way) with electrical tape since everything else is black... worked great....errrr...until the heat got to the electrical tape and the thing fell off every day of the summer....LOL

Hows the view of the logger? Do you have to turn your head?
That doesnt look bad :)

Its a good view. The only time it kind of sucks is right at dusk when its too light for the backlight still and too dark for no light. You do have to turn your head slightly, but the way its angled offers the ability to get a good look from a quick glance.

I am thinking that something like a m505(color version of the Palm V) would offer a better visual experience. The color Palms are A LOT easier to read. I wish I still had the 505 I got when I was a Network Admin for the university here.....*sigh*

I thought this was pretty cool/original, tho.. thanks for some props, man!
