How do you get the catback on?

alright i am blonde. But HOW DO YOU GET THE CATBACK ON THE 1995 GST?! I got the downpipe, the test pipe, the mid pipe and the elbow, but the muffler with the pipe that connects to it wont go over the axle. what do I do ?! PLEASE HELP!!!

I dont understand what u want to know but all u do is unbolt the two bolts off the dump pipe and if u got the dump pipe upgrade to unbolt that to and unbolt the catalytic converter and bolt up your new parts if they dont fit because they are in the way off the axles flip it over are u sure u got the 95 gst one.... Get some pics of what is going on and one of your self to ha

I remember I had the hardest time installing a cat-back on my buddies GST, same problem. Then we flipped it over and tried it and it worked. You just have to really fiddle with it, and try different angles of approach.

alright, well i am gonna try and use a lift at school and use the whole angle approach. my drive way did not give me enough anlge. it looks like the muffler needs to be perpendicular to the car. and like i said everything is up except for the piece with the mufler on it that suppose to go over the axle...

two weeks ago today i put on my 3" ebay exhaust and that last section over the axle was a huge pain in the ass, but with enough patience, force, and a good little bit of determination, it will go right into place...

by the way, i replaced my full exhaust, same as you, with only two jack stands...

I just used a jack and jack stands on my buddies car.

First of all, which catback are you installing on your car? Some catbacks go under and not over the rear axle like my Apex'i N1.

. thank you al very much for everything and yes, it was an Apexi N1 and i didnt know about it going under up until today morning when i brought it to school and decided to try it. I am gonna try and upload pics soon. looks very sexy and sounds even better
