My E-brake dont work for shit, and i've been told something about tightening like where the lever wire of the handle meet the brake line or something....i'm just not sure. So can SOMEBODY please tell me like exactly how to do this?

this is a 2g or 1g? If its a 2g, than you can just pull out the cigarette tray and tighten the bolt where the cable meets the lever. If its the 1g, I think you might need to remove a part of the center arm-rest console.

Pull up the center console. There should be an adjusting nut that that holds the brackets between the two cables and the lever cable together. Use that adjustment nut to tighten the cable so that the parking brake lever tightens within 5-7 notches.

Before adjusting, make sure that with the engine running, you pump the brakes 5-6 times. Do not adjust the parking brake too tight. If the number of notches is less than specified, the cable will be pulling too much the automatic adjuster will fail or your rear brakes will drag.

BTW, the adjustment procedures are in the Chilton's manual. You oughta pick one up.

Just to clarify, you don't need to remove your console on a 1G. Just open your center console, remove cupholder tray, pull up carpeting in base of center console, and there is the adjustment nut. :thumb:
