I bought the OBX adj. Cam Gears and I have a problem with installation. How Do I install them??? I cant even remove a Timing belt font cover it is inside of Engine mount bracket.
or you just put them when you are rebulding the engine that way you will have an access to everithing.

Unless you are very experienced, which judging by your question probably not, I wouldn't try to install them. Take it to a mechanic and have them do the timing belt and water pump while they are in there.

Agreed, take baby steps or you could end up valves shaped like elbow macarroni

and, how did you put the AEM Adjustable Cam Gears in your car?

The way I suggested to you. I'm no mechanic either. I have been learning over the years, however I'm still not ready to tackle the timing.

A good mechanic will install the gears free when he does the other maintenance. It might take an extra three minutes. The best route though would be to have them installed at a performance shop with a dyno so they can be properly tuned. If you have a run of the mill mechanic do it tell him to set the gears at 0 and time it like he normally would. Don't expect a big gain either, without more aggressive cams they won't help much.

LOL at elbow macaroni valves. :thumb:
