How Can You Tell The Difference?

How can you tell the difference between a regular EVO 8 and The Evo 8 GSR, just looking at the appearance? Are the GSR's sold in America?

The base Evo here is the RS. Then i think it goes to the GSR then the MR.

Summing up, there are three variation of Evo available in the U.S.: The "standard" Evo, the Evo MR, and the Evo RS. Each of these is a little different on the exterior. If I remember right, RS's don't come with a spoiler and other luxury options, MR's have the rear-window diffuser and special edition wheels.

Oh, I always thought it was RS, VIII, MR. According to everyone I asked the GSR is the Japenese version.

The Japanese call cars by different names there. The 3000GT is a GTO over there. They have Silvia's, we have 240SX's. They have Fairlady's, we have 300ZX's. And so on and so forth. Are you wrong for calling an Evo a GSR? No. Will a Mitsubishi dealer know what you're talking about? Probably not.

Yes, but that includes virtually anything you talk with them about, not just what car models they make.
