Hi everyone, I got under my car for the first time and noticed some rust, I wanted to ask if there is anything that obviously needs to be fixed ASAP. To me it looks like everything needs to be replaced, to be honest, but I figured that's an overreaction.

Most of it can be sand blasted and repainted. The rocker area looks like it has been covered in something, to mask the extent of the damage.

But your definitely going to need to cut the rust out.

This is what I recently did hope it helps as a reference.

You just keep cutting until there’s no more rust, then reshape new metal 20-22 gauge
And replace. Moisture gets trapped between the layers of sheet metal.
