Hot weather and boost issues just confirming...

Ive gota Big 16G with 550cc injectors, walbro 255lpm fuel pump, 3 inch exhaust, rewired 2g maf and an apexi running this all. Recently its been very hot here, mid 90s and and during boost my car would start to break up at around 10-15 psi, it would buck softly and missfire. It usually hits its 18psi with no problem.

I still have the stock side mount intercooler, would that be my problem? if I get a FMIC should that go away in the heat or I shouldnt even bother boosting in 90 degree weather at all?

Stock IC is heatsoaking, you're pushing hot air into the engine, engine is knocking, ECU is pulling timing. If you get a FMIC then it would definitely help your problem, but no matter what any car will run better in cold weather than in hot weather.

Hot weather sucks for boosting, longer spoolup, doesn't hit as hard, crappy fuel/timing maps ect.
Going from 30-70deg year round to 80-120deg sucks.
