I called a local muffler shop and the guy will charge me $275 to build me a 3in downpipe and catback mandrel bend system for my gst and i do have to bring the muffler.
My friend has a wrx and he sold me a 180* 3in Ubend and 3in SS flex with a 3in dynomax muffler (all brand new) for $135 that he was going to build and exhaust for his car. He bought a complete system for turboxs and these pars no longer he need it.

So i called again the muffler shop and told the guy that how much will he charge me if i bring all that and he said $180.

My neighbor is a welder and he told me that if i get him all the bends that i need for my car he will do it for a 6pack of beer.

I want my exhaust just like the apexi N1 under the rear supension system. How many U bends do i need to complete my exhaust. Remember i already have 1. I can find 3in U bends for $28 each. Is there a pic to show me detailed information for the route system under the car.

there will be no cat or resonator on the exhaust

I just took mine off like BlcknspoOlin said and they fabbed it piece by piece. It came out good and sounds great. With no cat it will be even easier for them and quicker too.

If you haven't made it yet i have an idea for you. I intend to make a custom 3 inch turbo back exhaust within the next month or so. I'm just going to buy a stainless steel pipe 10ft long (85 bucks), a brake rotor (7 bucks) and bend it myself over the rotor. It will make mandrel type bends and be fairly easy. I plan on buying the flex section from RRE (20 bucks a ft for stainless flex pipe) and my friend has steel rod we are gonna make the mounting points for. As for a cat, I'm just going to use the actual heat shielding pieces and form it over the pipe so i wont have a cat at all, but it'll look like it. As for the muffler, i'm going to get a universal HKS muffler (200 bucks) but im gonna run no muffler for a while because im poor. You can also get the N1 muffler for around 200 as well. There are cheaper ways to do things, for example use aluminized pipe, but i live in michigan and it'd just rust in a year. for the muffler, there is the dynomax bullet series which summit sells for 30-40 bucks if you want really cheap. RRE sells the flanges you'll need to bolt up to the turbo, but for my exhaust, its all gonna be one piece so i'll only need one flange to bolt to the o2 housing and then the gasket which together is about 10 bucks. My friend has a tig welder so it'll all be tacked with a mig first at his house, and then tigged at the shop he works at. Anyways, i hope this helps. Total not including the muffler should not run me over 200 bucks. and wisemen, if i miscalculated something along the way let me know!

I'd suggest pulling your downpipe off and taking it and the 10 ft section of pipe you have to the muffler shop. For about $10, they'll bend your pipe to resemble the downpipe. You'll be further ahead than if you try and bend it yourself.

Speaking from experience, a buddy and I made our own system for his 1g. We first attempted to bend the downpipe using a 16 ton pipe bender from harbor freight. Don't attempt it, it'll turn out horrible, as the pipe will buckle. You can make bends up to about 45 degrees (between 30-45 degrees) without buckling the pipe though. We made his system 2 pieces. Downpipe with cat elimination and the rear section. The rear section only has two compound 30 degree bends in it. Very smooth transition.

yeah, i dont think there would be any major bends besides the 90 degree going under the oil pan. as for the downpipe, i dont have one. my car, when i bought it, came without exhaust unfortunately.
