wanted to know what does a wastegate do i know it helps keep boost under control but is that really it, and why do some of them say 15psi spring load does that mean you can't run more than 15 psi. Help me understand

The external wastegate will allow you to control boost easily and efficently, And for the spring psi if you get a 15psi spring that means that will be the lowest amount of boost you can run, you can adjust it up with a boostcontroller from that point. WHen choosing a spring you want to get one for the lowest psi that you want your car to run.
