anyone use this on a 90 eclipse? i'm trying to install right now w/o the direct plug in harness. all ecu wires are correct. heres my problem:

3 wires for the ignition. red wire is constant 12v. i connected this to a 12v constant on the ecu because i couldnt find one on the ignition. second wire is blue which is accessories and i connected that to the blue wire on the ignition that gets 12v when the key is in the acc. position. some reason the last wire (green), supposed to connect to the ignition wire has 12volts on it constantly, even when the car is turned off there is 12v coming out of this wire.

is this if i connect this to the ignition wire wont it start the car?

I have the HKS TT on my car but got the harness with it. It was just plug and play for me. Only wires I had to connect was to the E-Brake and cigaretter lighter wire (ACC). Only time I had to touch the ignition was to plug the additional harness I got with it.

i just recently installed my hks tt in my 90 gsx. pretty sure there was a tech guide for the install on this site. search google too.

i guess i missed it when searching. did you use the harness on the install too?

why are you running the wires to the ecu? run them to the steering column where the ignition wires are

ps- yes the green wire is hot, thats the whole point. it stays hot while its timing down to keep the ignition on, to keep the car running
