ok well i have a Evo 8 and i was at my local race shop looking at blow offs and stuff and saw the HKS SSQ. guy said its a nice system for my car. it has the blow off valve then it had some piping it came with... does anyone know what the piping is for/where i goes to and from? thanks

unless u have pictures we cant help u so just ask the shop people i am sure they kno wat its for.

ps: its most likely the replacement upper intercooler pipe or the recirculating kit.

the piping you are talking about might be a recirculation kit....

no its not the recirculation kit i know what that looks like. on hks's site it says I/C piping. which is intercooler piping but it doesnt look like it comes from teh blow off ... or am i mistaken?

wait.. now im confused.. so... You got the upper intercooler pipe with the BOV? That sounds right in some places. Insted of having to weld on a new flange to your stock piece they give you an aftermarket pipe to use that has the HKS flange already on it so you can mount your BOV right there no problem.

yep... sounds like your upper intercooler pipe.. just replace your stock pipe with that and you will be good to go. 2 mods at once heh.

um in our town ... naperville there is a local race show for Audi's,evos, subarus, and VW i think and they have to do alot with turbo stuff and such for those cars and i was looking at the blow off since i got my RFL there and i dont like it anymore and they had it there with the piping. its a kit i guess i saw on HKS's site or whatever. gonna prob get it for xmas unless i get money b4. tryin to save for a turbo back right now too tho. thanks for the info guys.
