HKS Sequential BOV Leaking?

I have an old School HKS Sequential BOV on my Hybrid Motor. When I am idling, I can put my hand over it and feel ALOT of air escaping from the horn. I KNOW it isn't supposed to do that! When I am boosting, it is worse, but it does release pressure when I let off. What should I do. I am thinking of replacing it with a Supra that vents back into my intake piping. Thanks

escaping... it should be sucking in air... the only way it would be blowing out air would be if your turbo was pushing more air at idle than your engine naturally took in.

It is like it isn't sealing or I don't have enough vacuum going to it. But there is alot of vac at idle, about 10-15psi. I can seriously blow up balloons with the air coming out. It isn't good, I know that. My car runs really rich, I think because it isn't getting all the air it meters with my stock MAS

yeah... but like you said... there is vac at idle. Air should be getting sucked into the BOV at idle if it were leaking. Not coming out. When air is blown out of the BOV there is excess psi in the IC pipes.

How do you have the BOV hooked up? Where have you sourced the BOV nipple, and the boost gauge, and the wastegate. And why isnt your mod list filled in?

Yeah, the metered air is lost before it gets to your engine, so that is why you are running rich.
