HKS Cams identification

I bought a pair of HKS Cams off Ebay and am wondering if the person actually sent me HKS Cams. Is there any way to properly Identify an HKS Cam? Are they supposed to have HKS stamped in them somewhere? Bacause they don't and they didn't come in their HKS boxes. Motorhead noobie here HEEEEEEELP!!!

Hks cams will come in HKS labeled box and should have HKS stamp on then somewhere along with the part#(engraved)..

I have a pair of HKS cams, 272 inlet and 264 exhaust. The HKS logo is stamped on the hexagon where you hold the cams for tightening the cam sprockets this includes the duration and lift information as well.

Well I think I have been had. They do not have HKS Stamped anywhere on the Cam not do they have any lift information. I think I will be having a conversation with the seller. I got a steal on them since he mislisted them and I think he didn't think I could tell. I hate that!

The only markings on these cams are a C on the one near the where the Cam gear is bolted on and the other has a D there. Also scratched into the endcap where the cam gear is bolted on is C.881.H and the other is C.892.H. Does this mean anything to anyone?

This is horrible I can't even tell if which is intake and which is exhaust.

My HKS cams are identified with the HKS logo and are hand etched with "272" on each one.

This is how all HKS cams come, each cam will have a HKS and either 264 or 272 stamped on them. So I think that you should be having a little talk with seller.

thats why i'll pay a little more for somthing from a seller thats a power seller, or ebay store.

I got 264/272's and I don't recall any numbers other than part numbers. They also have HKS stamped in them. Maybe it varies from batch to batch, but it sounds like all of them do have HKS stamp. I think I have pictures of them, I'll post them up in a few.
