thanks again

You can always keep your balance shafts and reuse your timing belt tensioner if you properly disengaged/reengaged it, if and only if its in great shape and not leaking.

Make sure you change your balance shaft belt also. If its not too late,

Make sure your engine is at TDC(all timing marks aligned perfectly).
Zip tie your cams together tight, so they don't move(or use a DOHC tool).
Make sure to test your idler and tensioner pulley are properly spinning.
-

Properly tighten all timing pulley's to proper Torque specifications.
Make sure the belt is tensioned properly and all timing marks are still good.

You have a detailed manual on how to replace your timing belt, correct?
If not, don't just guess. The last thing you want to do is a head job cause your belt slipped. I can also send you some pages of the procedure out of my repair manual if you want.

And go back to english class. Kinda hard to read. And what do you mean by "new tensioners"? There is only one for our cars

easy tiger, no need to be harsh :p

but yes, you should double check your grammar and spelling before posting. It's part of the rules.

You could do the poor man's BS removal...cut the shaft and rotate your rear balance shaft so that it blocks the oil. There is a write-up somewhere in the tech section (I believe, or vfaq.com)

I don't think you should cut any "shaft" and i also don't think a timing job should be BS'ed either.

Proper knowledge and double checking everything... Priceless

If you can afford to put gas in your car and change your oil, you can afford a BSE kit.

How can you keep spelling a word wrong after reading it written correctly over and over? WTF

sorry for the spelling guys english was never one of my strung points always did better in shop LOL... but i got everything put back togeather and i turned the engine over by hand first to make sure it was all good. im almost done i just need to put the serp belt on and put coolant in and start it up but i ran out of time today so i gotta wait till monday:ohdamn:

thanks again guys

well i finished it up today and she started right up :thumb: had to do a few adjustments with the cam angle sensor but shes running fine better than before

thanks guys

You should not have to adjust anything after this job. If it ran any differently after you changed the belt and it was running correctly before I would question the timing of the belt. It should run exactly as before, no better and no worse. I only state this because you said you had to make a cam angle (ignition timing) adjustment. About the only exception is if you unhooked the battery (reset ecu) and it may take a minute or two for the car to smooth out upon first startup. If you rotate the motor over six times after you did the job and all 5 marks lined up (or 3 in the case of balance shaft removal) then you're fine.

it was running really choppy before i did the belt so i adjusted the cam angle sensor then so wen i did the belt it was off a bit i think the old belt was off a tooth ### it didnt seem to be lined up perfectly when i took it off
